You're absolutely right. Gen Z will lead the way and deconstruct capitalism altogether I believe. When I was teaching I always firmly told my students they could truly be anything they wanted- the school system is years behind what the modern student is now. Influencers, youtubers, professional gamers ARE real professions. I had a student already making money doing such things and going viral for it 🤷🏾‍♂️ Its a huge generational gap and lack of understanding of what teenagers are entering into (current workforce, economy, etc) that leads most adults into thinking they need to make them face 'reality'. These kids are facing reality, we (adults) are the ones who wont let go of the past.
